Primary School. We had a large group of friends and had great times together. We
converted the cellar in my Mother & Fathers house into a clubroom and the
gang would be there most of the time we were not at school or later at work. We
had some great weekends camping and some great holidays at holiday camps and
later in Spain.

This is a Photo of Vera aged 16
in 1930 with her Mother Ada Annie Taylor (Nee Wale) on a day trip to the
countryside. Ada loved flowers and it was a great day out for her in those
days to have a picnic and collect wild flowers. We would always go at
least once a year to collect Bluebells. I can remember the woods being absolutely
carpeted with them. We would bring home armfuls and also Primroses which
my Gran would put into her little patch of Garden. |
