We have found during our research that many
of the Genealogy sites are mainly Lists of Links to Other Genealogy sites , Who
in turn link you on to other Genealogy sites.
We are all trying desperately to find some
hard facts to access on line to extend our knowledge of the family we are
researching. This is very difficult to find especially if you are researching in
England. It would seem that there is a lot of information on line with
searchable databases for the US but only slowly are they coming online for the U.K. However we will list as many sites that we feel may be of some interest
or point you in the right direction for your research.

the complete indexes of Births deaths and Marriages from 1837 to the

At Last This site is about to become
the biggest thing online for Family history buffs. A searchable Index of
the Births Deaths & Marriages index's of the Family Records Center
Free of Charge. It is still under construction so at the moment incomplete
but it is up and running. You can search a name, Find the relevant entry
and reference and then order your certificate from the records
office.

searchable database of Baptisms,Marriages & Deaths from the old Parish
registers. Not searchable as yet but keep trying . when it does become

Origins
This Site is now called the origins network and consists
of Scots Origins, English Origins and Irish Origins . A Collection of Searchable
British and Irish genealogical data.
